so, i spent a little bit more on this than i have been, but not much. just sketched it out last night before going to sleep and then did the pen and watercolor during some down time at work today. i think it only took a little longer because i've been distracted updating goofy myspace and even some stuff here. oh well.

i am glad this place has so much reference... but still, i wish i had someone to draw from life. maybe i'll take another life drawing class sometime. that might even get me out the apartment, which would possibly kill me from the shock, but it'd be worth it for the art.
I absolutely love not only the sense of loneliness, but that of listlessness in your piece. I especially like your style and approach to your pieces. Well done!
Ah, and I have always wanted to draw from life. I mean, I draw my classmates from time to time, but they're unwilling subjects. Anyway, I always get that wierd look when they discover that I'm "watching" them. Though it can be fun, it's a bit tiresome. Best of luck on finding a life drawing class! I plan to do the same soon.
