Artist's Comments

i like lilys...

materials used:
  • india ink.

  • calligraphy pen

  • brush.

  • bleech.

  • acetone.

  • toothbrush.

  • rags.

  • dust mask (should have been a gas mask though).

  • watch for more like this... i enjoyed it very much and plan to do more with it. especially using more of the acetone. these techniques are some another artist from an awesomely cool forum i'm on told us about and i wanted to try it out. it was a blast. i fully recomend it. just don't hurt yourself.

p.s. sorry about the bad scan... i can't get the oversize scanner at work to stop making that streak right now, and i really should be working and not sharing art with you.

This is a m a z i n g... the 'dirtyness' of the background vs the beauty of the flower... I dig it!

    mmm

    yeah
    so nice in every way.
I love the spontaneity of the white, and the stone-strong lines of the lilies.
and your eye for color (you've got taste)

I'd go so far to say:
    perfect perfect
